NORDESTE PROPERTIES SOCIMI S.A. has promoted the refurbishment of the solar thermal installation at Hotel Saray in Granada with the support of NextGenerationEU funds.

At Hoteles Santos, with the support of NORDESTE PROPERTIES SOCIMI S.A. as the property owner, we continue to move forward in our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. In this context, the refurbishment of the solar thermal installation and the installation of a new centralized control system in Granada have been carried out. This project is supported by the incentive program for renewable thermal energy promoted by the Regional Government of Andalusia and funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds.

The project has been implemented at the Hotel Saray in Granada and includes the refurbishment of the existing solar thermal installation. This involved installing new solar panels and vacuum tubes to achieve more stable solar production and reduce temperature excesses, along with a new centralized control system with remote access. This system allows for improved monitoring of solar energy usage for hot water production in the hotel. All of this is aimed at enhancing the energy efficiency of the establishment through the use of renewable energy for thermal production.

The project has received public funding granted by the Andalusian Energy Agency במסגרת the call published on March 16, 2022, under Royal Decree 1124/2021, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. The incentive is intended to support the implementation of renewable thermal systems across different sectors of the economy.
